Terran Orbital is currently seeking a talented, team-oriented and growth-minded Head of Premise Security to join its Facilities team. The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day tasks and be responsible for managing the Identity Access Management and Physical Security programs in order to provide appropriate logical and physical access to Terran Orbital (TO) customers, personnel, and visitors, as well as ensure the safety and security of Terran Orbital's operating environments, personnel, assets and facilities.

This position will report to the Vice President of Infrastructure and is an incredible opportunity to help support the outcome of a major commercial space capability in a great, fast-growing company.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

With many tasks to oversee, in general the Head of Premise Security will be responsible to:
  • Manage personnel, budget and contract requirements.
  • Responsible for access control requirements to all facilities. Must be knowledgeable of security access control and surveillance camera systems, requirements and design and implementation.
  • Provide physical security requirements and standards for all TO facilities, personnel, and property. Collaborate closely with share services dept leads for onboarding, off boarding and site access on a regular basis
  • Respond to security, emergency, and medical incidents.
  • Coordinate closely with and maintain our premise security standards and requirements with secure work area management at prescribed locations and in coordination with Classified Security requirements for Terran Orbital and subsidiaries.
  • Assess existing Physical Security program; enhance and implement including writing policy, implementing company-wide guidance, and auditing compliance.
  • Develop, manage proactive security program including executive protection, travel security, workplace violence, crisis management & physical security system design.
  • Plan, coordinate and manage the physical security protection programs
  • Ensure that the company's security policies comply with federal laws and legislation, DOD and ITAR compliance.
  • Presenting risk assessments and improved security policies to management team members.
  • Manage multiple security vendor relationships and contract requirements.
  • Develop emergency response and Business continuity programs.
  • Coordinate support with Local and where necessary federal law enforcement agencies.
  • Build, coordinate and manage support plans and policy guidance for NRO programs.
  • Familiar with OUSD(I), DoD and IC agencies support requirements/procedures.
  • Manage acquisition processes for operational premise and physical guard support
  • Manage office administration and personnel.
  • Coordinate, administer and respond to executive taskings. Compile weekly reports, briefings, managed internal SharePoint site and maintained action tracking database.
  • Develop and implement an internal office and compound-wide communication program. Handle day-to-day informational messages and emergency notifications.
  • Conduct day-to-day security oversight and comprehensive security support to all locations

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Proficient at managing multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in planning, coordinating and managing physical security protection programs for numerous high-threat international locations.
  • Experience and working knowledge of access and surveillance technologies there deployment and management.
  • Well versed in the development, implementation and management of proactive security programs including executive protection, travel security, workplace violence, crisis management & physical security system design.
  • Ability to present risk assessments and improved security policies to management team members.
  • In-depth experience in interfacing with management teams to develop and implement an appropriate budget for security programs.
  • Successful management of technical and non-technical teams within the same group.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral, having interacted with a variety of people from the private sector, multiple Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) agencies.
  • Experience leveraging multiple agencies to develop solutions to complex interagency problems.
  • Familiar with various IC and DoD IT operating systems and applications, as well as G Suite, Microsoft Office, SharePoint.
