Description
Our client, a global leader in the energy and gas power industry, is seeking an Application Engineer I to join their team. As an Application Engineer I, you will be part of the Design Liaison Engineering Department supporting theGas Power Engineering Validation (GEV) Team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, excellent communication, and a passion for continuous improvement, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Application Engineer I (Design Liaison Engineer, Contractor)
Location: Remote – (Preferred: Greenville, SC
Pay Range: $45 - $53
What's the Job?
Lead and guide the team through the review and execution of engineering drawing changes.
Provide technical and project management support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and with high quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.
Ensure compliance with GEV processes and standards.
Implement process improvements to enhance function, quality, and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
5+ years of experience in the Gas Turbine industry.
Proficiency with PLM, Ansys, NX/UG, and Microsoft Suite.
Proven leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
Commitment to quality, process improvement, and timely task execution.
