We're looking for an incoming Sophomore, Junior, or Senior Intern candidates focused in an Engineering degree program for electrical or computer, or software engineering specializations. Summary:
The Securitas Technology Team is currently seeking a motivated student for an internship that will participate in the organization's Corrections division in the design, wiring, and commissioning operations with major active clients. This is a paid summer internship for 8 - 10 weeks.
Job Functions:
- Conduct a variety of general administrative tasks as assigned
- Shadow Securitas engineers and project managers supporting correction customer projects for jails and prison system customers
- Prepare reports and other information for departmental use
- Develop executive summaries on major projects or activities as assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Current student pursing a degree Engineering focused degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering specializations
- AutoCAD is a plus
- Lives in Indianapolis area and willing to work on site at a Securitas office
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) is required
- Must be detail-orientated, organized, and able to work independently
- High level of written and oral communication
- Demonstrate strong ability to handle confidential/private information
- Prior internship experience a plus
- Open to occasional travel between customer sites and local office
